If Trump is re-elected will California secede?

    We can't do that.  It's illegal.  That's why we had the civil war, the southern States were attempting to secede which is un-Constitutional.  But given that we're the fifth largest economy in the world, I'm sure our Governor will find lots of other ways to make Trump wish we would secede.

    California just asked the federal government for a TRILLION dollar bailout... they're saying that without it, massive cuts will have to be made in education and social services...

    ...and the reason those programs will have to be cut is that Sacramento will absolutely NOT consider any cuts to the state's bloated pension system and salaries for state workers...in other words, they need the money so that the 100,000 government workers currently making over $100,000 per year can be guaranteed their full pensions when they retire in their 50s....

    the last time California faced a crisis like this was in the late 1970s..... just before voting GOP in THREE consecutive Presidential Elections....  even if Biden wins, he could be this generation's Jimmy Carter once all those angry folks realize that Trump wasn't the real problem...
