Are 1/2 Siamese still hypoallergenic?

I know no cat is totally hypoallergenic. But is a 1/2 Siamese, 1/2 domestic shorthair with a coat like a Siamese just as hypoallergenic as most Siamese cats?

A Siamese cat is not hypoallergenic in the slightest.  I know of only some show lines of Maine Coon cats that are better for some people with allergies, but not all.

There is no line of Siamese cats that have this.

Siamese cats arent even hypoallergenic..  So no.

Understand that what one is allergic to is the protiens found in dander saliva and urine.   Because cats excessively lick themselves, they CONSTANTLY have dried saliva on their coat.    They also urinate in the house (in a litter box is still IN THE HOUSE).

Thats why even if a cat produces less dander than others, there is still NO SUCH THING as a hypoallergenic cat.

Cats all produce fel d1, which is the protien that triggers allergies.    Dogs produce different protiens.. So its possible for a person to be allergic to one type of canine protien, and have an individual dog that doesnt produce that protien

But you don't have a 1/2 Siamese so this question is pointless.  Less than 3% of cats are any breed and most breeders alter their pedigreed kittens before they are born.

There's no such thing as "totally hypoallergenic".  Hypoallergenic means less likely to cause allergic reactions not NON-allergenic.  And the Siamese isn't any more or less allergy inducing than any other breed.
