Singles pay higher taxes, spend more and are usually envied by the married crowd. The married are also suspicious they think singles are after their spouse..LOL

Consequences? Choosing not to marry or have children is not a poor decision lol if you honestly don't want the 'domestic' lifestyle you can find a partner and travel the world. You will have freedom

It is a personal choice whether one chooses to marry and have children. There are benefits to singleness, and benefits to marriage. Singleness ones can take more time to know who one is deep within and build qualities that last in life and benefit one if one decides on marriage. For encouraging information on singleness and marriage go to jw.org and too choose what topic you find interesting

Why would there be consequences?  That has such a negative connotation!  Whatever the 'result' is for the person who remains single and childless for the rest of that person's life, it all comes down to where the person plans to take life's journey.   Life can be a great ride without the marriage and kids, or it can be a great ride with marriage and kids.  Clearly, it's all in what YOU want, and what you will do with the choices you make.

There is no 'law' that says one must marry and create a family; it's a choice, and there are many other options. The only negativity (consequence) you have to worry about is making the wrong choice.  Whatever you decide, if your decision is honest and true for you, then it looks like life is gonna be good!

I can't find a single negative about being single. I am glad I had children, but that's also a mixed bag of emotional ups and downs. Consequences makes it sound as if there is some "standard" you are looking at--and there isn't one. A person can be anything they want--including single and childless. Choose either or both as you wish.

You will probably enjoy alot of freedom & **** when you're young, but once you turn old you'll feel lonely & you'll spend days begging for nice company.

None while your young but as you get old it can end up extremely lonely when others have children and grand children come for thanksgiving or Christmas you may end up sitting alone with most of your friends moved away or dead.
