What are some reasons to not disturb wildlife during a wildlife survey?

I’m doing a wildlife survey for school and I need to know some reasons that the wildlife shouldn’t be disturbed

That depends on the type of survey. When you are doing population surveys, you have to disturb the wildlife for a mark-recapture (Lincoln-Peterson) survey and do some major disturbance for estimation by removal. In contrast, for a behavioral survey, any disturbance would skew your results.

You might make parents abandon their offspring causing them to starve to death.
