Why hasn't the GOP got ridden of Trump yet?

He's been a continuous source of embarassment for the party, is dealing miserably with the two present crises, and is even mild on Putin after the news that Russia has put a bounty on troopers in Afghanistan... Are Republicans going to let him go away with all that?

Obs.: got rid,  not  "got ridden".

Some Republicans may act is if they're dismayed at Trump's antics but truth be told (never by Trump) they take great joy in the fact that he screws over poor people, minorities, the environment & anything that would benefit the common man. They pride themselves in corruption, stacking the courts and deregulation which benefits only big business and the rich. The GOP loves Donald Trump and the only way they will not stand by his side is if they are sure he will lose.

Well, Trump won. The GOP tried putting up a 'respectable', establishment nominee, in a winnable election year, in 2012, and they lost. In 2016, this guy who was not supposed to win at all, won. And although he ran as a populist, he enacted most of what Republicans wanted, like a tax cut for the rich and deregulation. He also got most of the Senate candidates he campaigned for in 2018 elected.

So he's winning for them. Why would they get rid of him? Now, he may lose this year. At the beginning of this year, though, he was the favourite, according to Goldman Sachs. Now they may have wished they could have gotten rid of him. But I don't think his poll ratings really took a dive until after Bill Weld dropped out of the race.

But even given that, Bill Weld was not going to get anywhere because the base likes Trump, and the base is who chooses the nominee. I mean, a group of senators can't get rid of Trump on their own or something like that. They can refuse to endorse him, like Mitt Romney, but I suspect most of them are scared that Trump will pull out the reelection and campaign for their primary opponents later on, as with Jeff Sessions. Mitt Romney is pretty safe, as Utah, while a Republican state, doesn't particularly cotton to Trump and voted for him reluctantly (and will probably do so again).

Hillary lost!  Get over it already!  Plus, the GOP can’t just get rid of a duly elected president you mental toddler.

Why would we want to? It's already been shown that the new Russian thing about the troops isn't reliable. You people watch nonsense like CNN and believe it because of your hate.

Look at what dimocrappers let FORMER chairman obama "get away with" for EIGHT long years.  If they didn't stop the chairman, why should Republicans stop the President?

The only embarrassment are the liberals, which include the liberal media who are running themselves out of business and the House of Representatives that should all be fired.

They are all in with him and that's why we need to vote straight blue in November. Only a big blue wave can cleanse our country.
