Tips for camping in 100degree weather?

I’m going to be attempting to live in a tent while I save up enough money to rent a place in Texas and it gets really hot and rainy here. Could you give some tips for surviving the heat, recommended tents for heat, and any other helpful things that I should know. If you are in the Dallas Fort Worth area could you recommend a tent store? Thank you.🙏

Unless there's a strong breeze all the time, you'll be miserable even if the tent is made entirely of screen and netting. What you need is a sun shade and a hammock. Hammocks made of netting are cooler than hammocks of solid fabric.

Look up "Mayan Hammock" to see what I mean.

Source(s): I live in the tropics and know about hot weather camping. A tent will kill you even if you have an electric fan.

Lots of water, plenty of shade.
