# [Algebra] How can I turn (m = p/q) into (2m+3n = ...)?

I'm trying to change the left side to 2m+3n, how can I do that?

Right now all I've done is added n to both sides:

m+n = (p/q) + n

what can I do next?

m = p / q

2m = 2p / q

2m + 3n = (2p / q) + 3n = (2p + 3nq) / q
