central air malfunction?

sometime the condenser goes on and the system is on but the blower does not work.

i hit power on n off a few times and the blower kicks in.

    you're talking about the internal circulation blower, I assume.  There are several reasons why this might stop working, and the most common is that the run/start capacitor needs to be replaced.  that's inside the air handler [the indoor unit] and if you don't have a handyman who can test and replace it, the a/c guy will do so for about $100 plus parts.  Be sure to give them the exact brand and model number [from the number plate on the indoor unit] and a full description of the problem so they can look up and send the correct capacitor out with the technician. -- Grampa  [other causes exist and aren't so simple ... and you'll need the technician to find and fix them]

    Replace the blower capacitor.
