Hello, I was a gifted a M1950 from a Marine he used during his service awhile back. The burner appears to be in good shape. I was informed it will burn about any kind of fuel. I'm curious if there is a "safer" or recommended fuel to use with this for the longevity of the burner itself.
If someone knows the order of operations to ignight the burner after adding the fuel, such as when/how many times to pump, would also be appreciated. Thank you.

It was designed to burn gasoline.
But also burned the person using it.
Not a good stove to use unless it was carefully maintained and used with extreme caution.
It was Nicknamed the Vietcong's greatest soldier as it took many troops out of the front line with serious burns.
