How exactly is brutal torture and death "love when no one asked for it or needed it?

Update:

If no one needed it for thousands of years before then no one needs it now

Torture in hell every one needs it every one needs to sin, but if resist the Devil 👿 and sin we can relax in the bed take a sleeping pill and go back to sleep every other day,

Repent of your sins in Jesus Christ name amen

    Thank you Jesus

You're making no sense.  You lack historical perspective.

To Christers, murder, stoning, and torture is their god’s way of showing “love”. Let them explain it.

The heavy hand of the Bible brought

all of that unnecessary crap into our lives.

Anyone who believes in a 'god' that has the

will and the intent to dispense torture and suffering,

and also creates a place like he||, deserves that god in spades.

That’s exactly the point, we didn’t deserve it and never asked for it. Would you give your life to save others who do not know you? Probably not, you would only do this out of love. He took on what should of happened to us out of love and so we can be saved

It's obscene that some people think it's so great that an innocent man had to be tortured to death before an allegedly omnipotent deity could forgive people.
