I'm sure they would still exist on Google's servers somewhere. How do you think the police or the Feds trace old emails and things like that?

The simple answer is no. Any email sent in the past that has turned up to the correct recipient will remain in their inbox if they havent deleted that email.

Its like text messaging, you can text someone, get that number removed but the person you texted will still have what you said to them providing they havent deleted that text.

Originals?  Yes.  Copies that have "landed" in someone else's system?  No.

they will be deleted from YOUR account, not from the accounts you emailed them to.

Emails sent won't disappear. Any replies however would bounce back to the sender.

They will not disappear at their destination - even if that destination uses an online mail client!
