Check fuses and replace the fuel filter and try again.

No luck, if car has a feed pump in fuel tank, check fuel pressure at fuel input to fuel filter while cranking.  Check for trouble codes with a scanner.  Check fuel pressure sensor data with a scanner or a scope while cranking.  Check suction control valve inputs with a scope while cranking.  Check fuel injector feedback volumes while cranking.  Fuel pressure sensor could be bad or suction control valve or if you are not too lucky, supply pump (injection pump) or injectors could be bad.

its a fuel problem ..the fact it starts and runs on easy start point to fuel starvation ..either clogged fuel filter or its got air in system and needs bleeding

Check the fuel pressure. Could be a faulty fuel pressure regulator. Common fault.

What’s the injector spray pattern like? What pressure is the fuel pump delivering to each injector? Is the air filter clean or is it clogged? Is the inlet manifold showing any hairline cracks? What’s the result of the cylinder compression tests done dry and then “wet”? (put a small squirt of oil into the injector hole before doing the compression test). The mere fact that fuel is getting to the injectors is insufficient.
