Usually there are 5 frequency bars in android equalizer, ranging from 60Hz to 14kHz. So the high frequency meter (14kHz), resembles *Treble. *And the lower ones (60kHz) resembles the *Bass. *And the rest frequency ranges are the Mid range Frequencies which gives a little bit of clarity to the song.

Now for more clarity, boost the high frequencies, 4kHz to 2db (say the meter has range upto 10db) & 16kHz to 4 db. Leave the Mid-range (910Hz) as it is. Now turn down the 230Hz to -4db in the equalizer. Now you're left with the Low frequency bar (60Hz), a frequency which contains the Bass!. Now lift it up according to your taste, how much bass you want.

Below is my Custom Equalizer. Too much bass though :P
