Both. Shop when you must otherwise stay home except for exercise.  There is almost zero risk if you go to the store, wear a mask and stay 6 feet from others.

I get within 3-4 feet on occasion and even that is reasonably safe unless the other person is coughing or sneezing at you and they have covid.  Don't let fear run your life. The odds are 99.999% you will not die from covid. (They would not be as good if you were 60+)
