Is the English language racist?
Clear is the name of a brand of hygiene products.
sunshine_mel: white is immediately behind the transparent; transparent is more than the opposite of black.
geezer: didn't you understand the association of the word with hygiene?

No, it's not a racist language. You are over-analyzing words and phrases in English.

Depends on who you ask.

English has caught on as the common language that most people speak as a second language and therefore might be taken as the English are better than everybody else but are not. They would however have a better understanding of the English language as it is their native language and it should not be held against them.

Sure. It must be.
Even breathing is racist.
"Clear" could mean "unblemished" with regard to skin. I think anybody could have clear skin or blemished skin.
But what about your thoughts? Are they unblemished?

You seem forget that BEFORE to be a brand of hygiene product, it's an ADJECTIVE. The brand just used it for call its product ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

English apparently isn't your first language if you see an insult in that.

A clear skin is a skin without blemishes. It can be ANY colour.
In any case your question is nonsensical. Anyone can use any word in a racist way but that doesn't mean that "the English language is racist".

Clear doesn't mean white; no-one's skin is transparent.
