Limit your trips. If you can do curb side pick ups, or deliveries to your home, do that instead. If you have to go inside, practice physical distancing, wear a mask and gloves. Also wash your product thoroughly before you use it. Wash your hands after coming home and try not to touch your face while you're in the store.

Instead, after unpacking, wash your hands. Washing your hands frequently, using soap and water and drying with a clean towel, is really the best defense for protecting yourself from this virus and many other infectious diseases that might be on a surface or package.

Long-term wearing of a medical mask can cause discomfort. However, it does not lead to carbon dioxide toxicity or oxygen deficiency. Care should be taken to ensure that the mask fits and fits snugly around the face to allow normal breathing. Disposable masks should not be reused and should be changed as soon as they become damp. If you're worrying about catching COVID in a grocery store, you must be shopping in the world's most crowded grocery store.

It doesn't; take long to shop for groceries - just go in, get what you need, and leave. Don't spend a lot of time wandering up and down the aisles just "looking'". Grocery stores aren't usually very crowded . The other shoppers (and possibly yourself) will probably be wearing masks. The cashier and the other store employees certainly will be; and there's a plastic shield barrier between you and the cashier. Six-foot spacing between you and other customers in the check-out lane is marked off on the floor. Store employees routinely wipe off and disinfect the handles on the freezer and refrigerator boxes and the push bars on shopping carts several times a day.

You aren't going to be in close physical contact with anyone in the store. What are you worrying about?

Consider alternatives, like having food delivered. Your health and well-being is certainly worth the added expense.

Wear a mask, keep your distance from other shoppers. Carry hand sanitiser with you also.

Wear a mask and stay 6 ft away from people. Don't touch your face and wash your hands asap afterwards.
