Whats worse rabies or tetanus?

Definitely rabies. Once you get rabies infection in the brain you cannot survive. There is no treatment other than vaccination, which must be started as soon as possible after the bite. Fortunately it has a long incubation period (typically 1 - 3 months) though it can be as short as one week.

Tetanus is treatable once you get it, though it requires hospitalisation and intensive care. Treatment includes passive immunisation with tetanus antibody, penicillin, surgical debridement of the infected wound, and sometimes being given a paralysing drug (which then requires mechanical ventilation in an intensive care unit).

So it's definitely a lot better to be vaccinated against tetanus than to get the illness.
