Can’t open WAV files?

Help!

I was recovery WAV files from my audio device onto my computer when my pc shut down.

The file sizes are still there but no audio is being detected. I tried audacity, ffmpeg etc with no prevail. My audio device has since been formatted so my recovery program isn’t detecting them anymore. I do have the corrupted files on my P.C. though

if it won't recover from a formatted drive, then you need a better recovery software...

Try playing another WAV file. If that works, the one in question is corrupted to the point it won't play.

You can download Recuva. It's totally free and can recover even after a format as long as the device hasn't been written to. If despite using Recuva, you still can't get your file, consider it lost already.
