These are the latter days before Jesus returns for His followers.  Once His people meaning believers are taken out of the way, then the Great Tribulation will begin and the man of sin called the Antichrist will show his ugly head.  The believers are the Temple of God and their bodies hold the Holy Spirit of God and at the moment they are the restrainers keeping the Devil from coming on the earth in full force.  Shocking times are coming and from what I've read in the Holy Bible, "You haven't seen anything yet."  You think times are bad, literally horrors are coming.  Today is the day of Salvation, tomorrow could be too late.  Bow your head, repent of your sins and invite Jesus the Christ into your heart.

The only way that any of us could know when that will be is if God made that information available to us in his word the bible. Jesus did describe in detail things that would happen in the last days at Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. This is because Jesus' disciples asked him what will the sign be of his presence or second coming and of the conclusion of the system of things? Jesus gave them the answer. This has a twofold answer, first the conclusion of the Jewish system which ended in 70 AD when the Roman armies destroyed Jerusalem and the temple thus ending the Jewish system of worship centred around the temple and secondly the end of the entire world system. Some of the features of the latter would be wars, famine, pestilence (epidemics of worldwide significance), earthquakes, increase of crime and lawlessness etc. Later the prophecy at 2Timothy 3:1-5 indicated that the last days would be critical times hard to deal with. Read that interesting account and see if you can relate personally to the attitudes in human behaviour that would indicate whether you are seeing these things today. Every day after Jesus said that have been the last days before judgement day. The real question  is, "How many last days are their?"

The Bible has quite a bit of predictive prophecy, but it avoids setting a time for the end of the world. It actually does the opposite. Jesus (Luke 12:39), Paul (1 Thessalonians 5:2), and Peter (2 Peter 3:10) all used the illustration of a thief that comes when you don’t expect.

The Thessalonian Christians had some misunderstandings about the Second Coming and so Paul had to explain some things in his two letters to them. In 1 Thessalonians 5 he said, “Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, ‘Peace and safety!’ then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief...” (Thess. 5:1-4). In other words, we are ALWAYS ready for it.

While on earth, Jesus stated unequivocally, “But of that day and hour NO ONE KNOWS, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone” (Matt. 24:36). Let’s think about this—if Jesus didn’t even know it while He was on earth, doesn’t it seem strange to you that so-called prophets or others today can know it?

He went on to say, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; SO WILL THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE” (Matt. 24:37-39). What’s the point? It was life as usual. Like the flood of Noah’s day, it will be a total surprise and come without warning.

In the middle of some parables on being ready, Jesus said, “You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour THAT YOU DO NOT EXPECT” (Luke 12:40).

And going back to the thief illustration—as it’s been pointed out, a thief doesn’t leave little hints that he’s coming.

Some people are saying, “Maybe the Coronavirus is one of the plagues mentioned in Revelation 6 or Revelation 16!” Now, I could be wrong, but besides being symbolic language, I personally think that’s already happened. In Revelation 1:1, the apostle John said, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must SOON TAKE PLACE."

You'll have to check it out for yourself, but I think a lot of times when the New Testament talks about "the last days," it's just referring to the last dispensation before Jesus returns (the time between the cross and the second coming).

THERE has been many predictions in the pass concerning the last days and the return of JESUS and they all failed and the reason for such was they missed the first and greatest prophecy that JESUS spoke of concerning the last days and it was spoken as a parable,THE parable of the fig tree meaning the rebirth of ISRAEL ,THIS prophecy took place in 1948 and the end time clock began to tick,THIS time there is no mistake.

Reference passage please. You have no understanding of the biblical "latter days."

Read all of Mat 24 where the apostles asked Jesus.....

Matthew 24:3 — And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age?

Read all the signs....and then this:

Matthew 24:34-35 KJV — Verily I say unto you, >>>This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. <<< Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
