Is it true that there is no Adam or Eve, it’s all symbolic?

Everything in this world is symbolic, A Course in Miracles makes that abundantly clear, there may have been what we perceive to be a first modern man and woman, but what or who created them? The Bible says God is Light, not human, so why is the Light of God being expressed in human form? that is beyond our imaginations, we know our minds are complex, James in the Bible says we are Double minded, I believe that, everything is a symbol and all symbols have a meaning, when you see a cross, automatically we think of Jesus think of Jesus Death and Resurrection, but what did the symbol of the cross mean to cultures before Jesus time? It symbolized the procession of the equinoxes as it approached the the celestial southern cross to mark the suns movement in the seasons of the earth...there is a period in the winter where the suns movement stops for 3 days and on the 3rd day the sun moves 1 degree north making its daily return to the northern hemisphere...all happening on the southern cross, the sun dies and comes back to life on the 3rd day, Gee where did we hear that before? Humanity has had the wool pulled over its eyes....I have no doubt Jesus was real, but I'm certain the narrative of his presence and message was derailed for the benefit of the religious order that Jesus called hypocrites.

No, it's literal. Read Sitchin. Zechariah Sitchin. DNA and Sumerian texts back up the Bible. Sumer had star charts showing Uranus and Pluto millennia before the telescope revealed them.

Many believe it is allegorical. That Genesis is based on Babylonian creation myths, and that thhe apple represents the knowledge of good and evil (not a real apple), and the guy who tempted Eve might have had the heart of a snake, but was not physically a talking snake.
Remember that the Bible was compiled by priests over several thousand years to include books by prophets, disciples and clergy they believed were imbued with the holy spirit. Only the ten commandments were actually written by God.

It is true, but it's not symbolic, just a poor explanation for our human nature and why life is so tough. That is why Original Sin is inherited, what human is not born with human nature. Inherited would not make any sense in any other context. Of course its a downer for Christians because the main purpose of Jesus was to correct Adam and Eve's transgression. No Adam and Eve, the claimed purpose of Jesus falls flat. Of course there are many other things in the Bible that discredits a need for a God/Man Savior that was introduced by the Pagan Roman Empire. Even the NT writers all discredit themselves if you really pay attention.

No it's not. But you get a chance to set God straight when he is judging you for eternity.

If Adam and Eve are symbolic, then there wasn't a reason for Jesus to come to the earth.
If Adam and Eve are symbolic, then God is to blame for our suffering and death.
Jesus didn't view Adam and Eve as symbolic but as they truly are,
Real people who because of their sin and lack of love and faith, in the God who created them, brought sin and death to all mankind.

Adam and Eve according to Abrahamic religionsBut what about the origin of man according to other religions of the world? So the idea may be symbolic , who can definitely say about the unknown past

Most of Genesis and the older, more fantastical, parts of the Bible are clearly allegorical and mythology (some taken from other religions). What is really funny is how Christians who take a literal interpretation of the Bible call atheism "ridiculous" when they are the one's who believe in magic fruit and talking animals.

There were over 5 millions humans on earth when God sent Adam and Eve (Nephilim Angels) to preach to, not mate with mankind(forbidden fruit). If you mate with them, you die(lose supernatural power). It is GOSPEL that makes man in God's own image.
