Would this consider as cheating for a teacher?

While I was taking a class last semester , I noticed topics and terms that were not presented in lecture were in exams. I studied hard for it by the lecture that's how I noticed.  Then realized they were questions from quizlet, I start to think : would professor consider as cheater for copy and pasting the questions ? Also he mentioned in email to me everything from lecture and book is not required.

Any copy and paste from outside sources that are not referenced and cited are considered plagiarism and cheating.

You mean, "Would this BE CONSIDERED as cheating?" and "Would the professor BE CONSIDERED as a cheater?"
