It sounds more like revenge. If he loved her, he wouldn't be having sex with you. If he's dating her but still having sex with you, he is cheating on her. He wants to get revenge on her before she dies of cancer. If she dies, his plans are probably to start dating you again. You said in another question that she begged him to come back to her after she found out she has cancer. She might feel guilty for cheating on him and she knows she is dying and that this is her last chance to make things right for him. She wants him to forgive her. I think you both should give her the peace she needs, cancer is a painful disease to have. She is suffering enough.
