Is the Intelligent Design science?

Its a supernatural act of supernatural God

No. Science is the study of the natural universe in natural terms. Spiritual/supernatural realities like intelligent design lie totally outside the realm of science, and science therefore cannot make any valid statements, pro or con, concerning such realities.

No, it is a hoax.
A billion dollar hoax.
It has been pointed out here before by myself and others, no scientific claim has ever been replaced with religious 'facts', but religious claims are constantly shown to be wrong by the various sciences. Never has religion shown science to be wrong about anything
Claims that evolution isn't scientific and factual, are just stupid claims, the evidence for evolution is overwhelming, would take years to read. Evidence for a god is zero, no reading to be done.
That alone shows a validity rating of zero.

Do schools of engineering and design teach science?

It's better science than atheistic evolution is.

Science is the study of intelligent design. Science is a work in progress leading to the truth of an intelligent designer .

No. In order for something to be 'science' it has to be testable. That means it must be an idea that makes a prediction that can then be tested. Until then, it's just an idea. It might be a very good idea that has some strong reasons for being believed like say String Theory. Right now, string theory makes no predictions and is therefore untestable and is therefore NOT science. It is believed by some scientists, but even those scientists will tell you that it's unproven and just an idea at this point. It's effectively an educated guess.
ID doesn't even have that going for it. Not only does ID also make no predictions and therefore is NOT science, but it's not even an educated guess. There is no math or scientific process or merit that makes ID likely. It's supporters cite pseudo-science that generally is inaccurate and already disproven in the scientific journals like "irreducible complexity" or "we believe in microevolution not macroevolution".

Science is a knowledge building process by which individuals collect empirical data that is observable, recordable, and replicable to build general explanations as to the nature of whatever phenomenon it is that they are studying. Intelligent design cannot be empirically demonstrated with verifiable data because it assumes a creator (more multiple creators) that is either magical or supernatural that has yet to be shown to exist or a physical being (or beings) that has yet to be shown to exist.
Scientifically, the positive claims made by intelligent design do not stand up to scrutiny and should be rejected pending the collection of actual evidence.
The creators in most of the arguments for intelligent design tend not to follow Aristotle's laws of thought and ultimately boil down to an abstraction with no discernible characteristics other than being being the remnant leftovers of philosophical debate. So what is a god? Whatever is left over after logic destroys the initial idea of one.
In order for intelligent design to be studied scientifically, one would have to settle on a logical definition of the creator that can be subjected to inquiry. In at least 5,000 years no one has been able to even get past that first step.

Heck no. Science needs evidence.
