Filing a lawsuit for medical malpractice?
I am considering filing a lawsuit against a psychiatrist for medical malpractice but I know it's not right to do, and don't know whether it's a good decision. Is it wrong to do?

Is it wrong? It depends.
Before I can give you my opinion, I'd want to know what the psychiatrist allegedly did that was wrong.

Right and wrong are personal morals and ethics, not legal issues.
If you have grounds and Physicians/Psychiatrists willing to testify against this specific Psychiatrist, yes, contact a medical malpractice attorney and sue.
