Which of the following substance is soluble in water? Give a reason why it is soluble?

Glucose and Vitamin C: Both are very polar molecules with multiple -OH groups to which water molecules can form hydrogen bonds. The other two compounds are very non-polar. The single -OH group on vitamin A does not provide sufficient interaction with water to solubilize the very large non-polar part of that molecule.
