In 1967 I was in the U.S.A.F. in Athens, Greece.  Found out that potatoes fried in olive oil is *fabulous*.

I use olive oil for deep frying.  For skillet use, I use either olive oil or butter.

I heart disease, the doctors watch my heath.  Cholesterol should be <=199 mg/dL, mine has been averaging about 130 for over 10 years.  So, Yeah, I think I can say that olive oil is good for me.

Don't know. Scared Popeye would squeeze open a can of spinach.

  • It's very good for you. If you have an earache, put some olive oil on a q-tip and stick it in your ear. It'll take away the pain in minutes!

It is better for you than many other highly processed oils. Of course, it is not recommended to chug a whole bottle.

Olive oil is for salads (cold use).

Coconut oil is for frying (hot use).

Yes it's the best oil, but it must be "Extra Virgin Olive Oil".
