Why can't I imagine my future?

I'm not suicidal or anything. Since I was like 5 or 6, I read a book where one of the characters, a girl, died at like the age of 18 or 20, and since then I had a gut feeling that I would die early too. I just knew.

I kind of did outgrow that feeling, but I have trouble imagining myself in college, or getting married, or having kids. I 110000% want all those things, but I can't actually see myself being that old! Is this normal or could this mean I might die? I don't want toooo!!!
