EFS:  The Offside: Does the attacker go too early, or does the passer pass too late?

More often than not it is the attacker who tries to get that half yard advantage over the defender. Even the most experienced attackers who have the ability to bend their run so they get a rolling start on the defender are often guilty of this. Occasionally, however, the player passing the ball does delay it too long and this is usually very obviously so and a lot of the time brings a bit of a grizzle from other players. A good manager will always remind players to stay onside as they can be forgetful of watching the last defender and staying with him if he pushes forward.

As I see it, it could be either or both but then again, the linesman may just be freakin'ly blind!
