HELP! ME PLEASE?
The most common source of copper (Cu) is the mineral chalcopyrite ( CuFeS2 ). How many kilograms of chalcopyrite must be mined to obtain 460. g of pure Cu?
Express your answer to three significant figures and include the appropriate units.

Number of mol of Cu = mass / molar mass
= 460 g / 63.546 g/mol = 7.24 mol
Each mol Cu is prepared from one mol chalcopyrite
So number of mol of mineral required = 7.24 mol
Mass of chalcopyrite = mol x molar mass
= 7.24 mol x 183.52 g/mol
= 1328 g
Mass of chalcopyrite in kg = 1328/ 1000 kg
= 1.33 kg
