My manager at a fast-food job fires people without writing them up. Is that even legal ?

She fired one lady for complaining about working the sandwich station but yet the manager complains about the turnover rate

    Yes, it is legal to fire someone without prior warning.

    100% legal.  They don't ever have to write you up.

    Of course it is legal. A person can be fired at any time for any reason. Even if there is a company policy that some type of write up is required and if someone were to be fired without a write up it would only be breaking a company rule not a law.
