Can a benign condition mean normal ?

    def: (of a disease) not harmful in effect: in particular, (of a tumor) not malignant.

    Usage: Even though my tumor is the sie of a basketball, it's benign (not cancerous).

    Is that normal? maybe yes, maybe no.

    NO.  Benign means you have a tumor .. a growth--  but this growth is not a cancer.

     = = =I do not believe growths of any kind in the body are normal.
