I just saw This Gun For Hire which was great. I recommend it.

Black-and-white movies hurt my eyes (although colorized ones are worse - although they've gotten way better at it just recently).

I will say some Alfred Hitchcock episodes - despite being black and white... were really good... but really scary.

Yes the stories in them had actors who expressed emotions and feelings for family life.  Family life is important and without it what point is there in existing.

Sure, why not? They are some of the best decades together with the 1960s and 1970s.

95% of the time my TV in evening is on Turner Classic Movies. I love films from the 1930's on. The best in cinema history without the use of expletives.
