Is it possible for someone with Down syndrome to have moderate case of down syndrome?

    No. There is no moderate or severe. Down's Syndrome is caused by an extra copy of a chromosome, so it's really an "either you have it or you don't." There are varying degrees in which it affects the intellectual abilities of those with it, sometimes referred to as "mental retardation", though that term has gone out of favor and fashion. So there are people with moderate impact on their intellect but you either have Down's or you don't.

    Down Syndrome people have different abilities and health  issues.  They are not all the same.
