"Living Arrangements"?

Research the costs of improving the safety of an older adult's home. Often simple changes in a home can allow a person to age in place safely when they no longer have good vision, balance, or strength. For instance, removing loose rugs and adding grab bars by doorways and in bathrooms can all prevent falls. Increasing light levels can also improve safety. What other safety measures or adaptive equipment can you list and what would they cost an older adult?

No, I don't have time to research the costs of improving the safety of an older adult's home.

    Try doing your own homework.
