I'm one of those unique individuals who has to have a written permit from both the Fire Marshall's Office and the EPA before I can even touch a cooking utensil!

    Not and be honest.

Never having been married, I have to cook for my self. So in the last 40 year or so, I'm pretty good.

I would say 7. Ten being the highest, on your scale.

I'm an 8.  I can cook pretty decently.

Not very high. I'm about a 3. I can cook bacon and eggs. That's about it.

I get roast chickens from the supermarket, I cook steak and onions sometimes, but I am no chef.

I would like to learn more, but I don't have a great kitchen to work with.

IF Ramsay is a 10, I would rate myself at a 7 or so. We are both professionally trained chefs, but I no longer have the stamina to get to his point. And I am more concerned about putting on a meal that TASTES great, rather than one the LOOKS great.

I will eat anything that looks like a BigMac hun.
