Do any suicide survivors regret their attempts or are they upset they didn't die?

Someone who tries to commit suicide is someone in a lot of pain and the act of suicide is largely an irrational one. For sure when the person is able to see clarity, they will regret the decision. If they cannot see clarity, it means they are still unwell and need help to see clarity.

A university in the US did a study and interviewed the survivors who jumped off the Golden Gate bridge to kill themselves. EVERY one of them said that as they were falling, they realised the problems they had, that drove them to such action, weren't as bad as they thought. They were glad they survived.

    This is impossible to choose.

Some had sickness for 24 hours.

They were in pain all day.

All the people that jumped off the golden gate bridge and survived said they changed their mind on the way down.
