About pension for ex-wife?

If a man don't re-marry, ex-wife will receive a half of his pension, is that correct? However, from when?

This depends 100% on the wording of the divorce and the property settlement.  Sometimes yes.  Sometimes no.  Sometimes the pension benefits end when the retired person dies.

I have no idea what "from when" means.

It depends upon the pension and the terms of the divorce settlement.

Depends how long they were married

No sure thing on that. But if the wife has a good lawyer, they will argue for a bit extra assets if you have a pension plan.

No she won't receive half of his pension unless it is written into the divorce decree.  In the USA, a woman can collect her husband's social security if it's more than hers  - but only after he's dead.

And if the man was married more than once, then the wife who was married to him longer is the one who can collect on the ex husband's social security after he's passed away
