What was Henry VII’s relationship like with nobility in the early days? ?

Oh, it was great. He really like the nobility - and they liked him. It was basically just a big, giant love-in. They all really got on.

He came to power as the result of civil war. Some of the nobility had fought with him, some against him. He didn't fully trust either lot, and with good reason.
