The recorded conversation that President Trump released to the public supposedly showed him demanding political favors from Ukraine except no-one but Democrats could hear any such demands. President Trump told the President of the Ukraine that if he wanted his country to continue receiving U.S aid then he needed to deal with home-grown corruption because U.S laws say that the Government must be sure that aid is spent properly by the correct people and not be siphoned off by corrupt Ukrainian politicians and bureaucrats. That is what Democrats deemed worthy of impeachment after Democrats had promised that they would impeach President Trump before he even entered the White House.
