50.11Hz (and 246V)

Just measured, in the UK. Using a Fluke 187 meter.

The frequency varies slightly throughout the day, but is deliberately compensated to keep the average at 50.000 (or 60.000) so mains-synchronised clocks stay accurate.

No matter whether you live in a 50Hz. or 60Hz. mains frequency place, the overall average frequency will be one or the other. If it were not, think how many mains- frequency locked clocks etc. would show errors!

Yes, I've measured it and it is 60HZ.

It's more accurate than most of the frequency meters in use unless they were recently calibrated. It is referenced to radio WWV Fort Collins, Colorado so all power sources can work on the US power grid.

Your update is BS. The very nature of AC power REQUIRES a uniform frequency and YOU wouldn't know how to measure it if someone DEMONSTRATED the use of the equipment, which you have never seen.
