How do I use my fax machine with my home number?

Plug the wall phone line into the fax machine input and then plug your home phone into fax machine output.   Then all phone calls go thru the fax machine.   If you do not answer the phone in five rings the fax machine will answer and if it gets a fax signal it will print out the fax.   If the fax machine does not have an answering machine function built into it no one will be able to leave messages.
