The rear suspension on my 1997 corolla feels weird?
When i go over 30 mph i feel some wobble in the rear and the steering feels a little loose. What can be wrong? i know the car is old and i should upgrade but im trying to save enough cash so i don't have to finance a new car.

Have the suspension checked by a local mechanic. Maybe they give free estimate for repairs?
Have tires checked also.
Make sure the tires are all inflated the same.
A 23 year old vehicle can easily have wear in the steering box or rack, plus steering linkage parts. Have it checked. Then you'll know.

Could be a separated tire belt. Jack up each corner of the car and spin each wheel, if you see one with a wobble it's come apart inside and will need to be replaced.

One of your wheels could be warped, a tire could be out of balance or have a bubble in it, The front end could be out of alignment . A wheel could have loose lug nuts on it . I think you saving up for a car is a great idea .
