If your building muscle Do u need carbs?

Yes. There's only one type of carb you do NOT need and are the reason for 85% of obesity: sugars.
If you are building muscle, eat meat and animal products as they are high IN ALL essential amino acids that you require.
Not all carbs are the same and not all proteins are the same.

No. Muscles are made of protein, not carbs. Carbs are either used by your cells as fuel or stored as fat for use later. Carbs are a source of calories but are not an essential nutrient. No carb is ever going to turn into an amino acid and then into muscle fiber.
There is some belief that it is difficult to bulk up if you are in a calorie deficit, but that doesn't mean you need to eat carbs. You can, of course, but it isn't required. Millions of people are strong and fit on low-carb or keto diets, and even on carnivore diets. I'm not saying you need to go keto or carnivore, just that people following these lifestyles are proof you don't need carbs to build muscle.
