Is not taking risks considered inhibition?

I do research on investment stocks and make my picks but never act on them because I am afraid to take risks only to be disappointed that I was actually solid in my research and would have made a fortune. I am trying to see therapy to recondition my mind so I don’t miss opportunities in life like this. I have seen therapy sessions available to help with inhibitions would this fit in the same category?

or a lucid will. inhibition or precaution, it depends on the risk and the situation. sometimes the head tells not to risk because it's the best thing to do.
