I want to point out that everyone that is saying that 9 isn't divisible by 2 is wrong. All numbers can be divided by 2. 9 divided by 2 is 4.5. What makes 9 odd is that the result after dividing by 2 isn't an integer, it contains digits after the decimal place.

Odd!!!
All even numbers are divisible by '2'. Also remember all odd numbers end in 1,3,5,7,& 9.
All even numbers end in 0,2,4,6,& 8.

9 is an odd number because all even numbers are divisible by 2. And When we divide 9 by 2 we get a remainder 1. So, 9 is an odd number. So, whenever a number is divided by 2 and the remainder is ‘0’ only those numbers are even numbers.
