Determine the volume of a solid gold thing which weights 500 grams?

    Gold is 19.3 grams per cc. So 500/19.3 = 25.9 ccs.

    volume = mass/density = (500 g)/(19.3 g/cc) = 25.9 cc

    Gold is heavy.  The volume is surprisingly small.
