Do I still need to uncover my ‘impacted’ canine tooth if it’s starting to erupt with braces?
I’m almost 25 years old and I’ve had braces for about 6 months. I’ve always been told that once in an adult, my impacted canine tooth wouldn’t budge on it’s own without help from oral surgery and braces. But now that my teeth are more spaced out, the very tip of my canine tooth is poking out of my gums. I’m wondering if I still need an uncovering to make sure it grows in right or not. Any orthodontists or dental experts out there that have an opinion? Thanks.
