Is it grammatically correct?

Today I ran the hill to do physical exercises. I saw a truck and people working. I took pictures of flowers of the condominium garden. I chatted to some friends over the internet.

Today I ran UP the hill for exercise.  I saw a truck, and people working [trucks don't work].  I took PHOTOS of flowers in the condominium garden.  I chatted WITH some friends ON the internet.

It is grammatically correct, but very stiff sounding, like a robot reciting the sentences. 

You could try:

Today I ran the hill to get some exercise. I passed a truck and some people working. I also took pictures of some of the flowers in the condominium garden and later chatted with some friends on the internet.
