Why are common people in the same party as people with a 10 figure net worth?

Question

There's only one person with a 10 figure net worth who is Republican. The rest are all Democrats. Trump will be long dead before there's a Republican with an 11 figure net worth. Why do Democrats still like to pretend like they're the party of the underdogs?

The Walton's used to be Republicans, but are anti-Trump. Elon Musk, the Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffet, Michael Bloomberg, and the founders of Google are all Democrats. If one of the top 50 wealthiest people are really Republican, then who are they? Sheldon Adelson is the wealthiest Republican I know of.

Money is not the root of all evil.  Money made by cartels is and you need to listen to what Trump is saying at the border wall about the damage caused to the United States from illegal drugs for decades.  Sad for the Karma of those who have hurt the children of humanity and promoted them the world. Ones who made illegal drugs need to watch videos of babies going through withdraws and moms who made those kids should be sterilized so they can never bear children ever again.

Just to clarify, when you talk about an "n-figure" number, it means a number with n digits.

A 6-figure net worth is 100,000 to 999,999

A 7-figure net worth is 1,000,000 to 9,999,999

An 8-figure net worth is 10,000,000 to 99,999,999

A 9-figure net worth is 100,000,000 to 999,999,999

A 10-figure net worth is 1,000,000,000 to 9,999,999,999

So if someone has a net worth of a billion (but less than 10 billion) they have a ten-figure net worth.

You do know that a 10 figure is anything more than 1 billion. 1,000,000,000. 

There are a bunch of billionaires. There are at least 25 people who are worth more than 10 billion. 

There are 4 people who are worth more than 100 billion (12 figure):  Musk, Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg. Elon musk is worth 188.5 billion and he’s a Republican. The Waltons (Alice, Jim, Rob) are worth about 65 billion each. They’re republicans. Larry Ellison is worth about 80 billion, and he’s mostly Republican. 

The Charles Koch is a Republican and worth 45 billion.
