During the Great Famine in Ireland of the 1840s, Ottoman Sultan Abdülmecid donated £1,000 to famine relief. A letter written by Irish notables in the Ottoman archives explicitly thanks the Sultan for his help.[2]
According to legend,[3][4][5] the Sultan had originally intended to send £10,000, but either British diplomats or his own ministers requested that the Sultan send only £1,000, so as not to violate protocol by donating more than Queen Victoria, who had sent £2,000.[6] He is also said to have sent three[5] or five[7] ships full of food.[5][7]

Mosques don't even help other Muslim refugees. Do you think all of those Muslims fleeing Iraq and Syria were welcomed in Iran, Turkey or Saudi Arabia? No, they continued on to Greece and then to Europe. I do think that if Muslims were to welcome refugees, it would definitely be the Shia and not the Sunni. Iran welcomed Polish refugees during World War II and is very multicultural even today.

No need, since Christians came to the Muslims Lands not by being refugees, but by the Battle Ship Policy for the Colonization and Western Imperialism and right now turn to be Neo- with divide and rule and divide and kill ,as we see in many proxy wars around the globe.

yes they do.. I live in SAudiarabia.. this country has taken in many from war torn countries around.. and im sure there are people of different religious affiliations in them.. many Syrians, Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraqis, Kuwaitis, Egyptians, Omanis, Yemenis.. They are given dignity, not called refugees.. they are given jobs, housing, schooling, medical care and can own businesses... my children go to school with their children now... its a lovely thing..

As Farther Jack would say "That would be an ecumenical matter."
Seriously though that is really good to hear.

Lovely to hear a nice heart warming story in these troubled times:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

It’s not relevant. It’s not a competition. True Christians do because they believe in Christian values, not because they expect back in return.

Of course not.
This will be a decision the population lives to regret.
